you're out there.

your love for the Lord is evident.
you seek the Lord to guide you and direct your path.
you understand what it means to be wild at heart.
you see the best in me, and I in you.
you teach me how to do new things.
you appreciate different cultures, and foods and travel, you're not afraid of the kitchen.
you walk along side me as I get excited about design stuff, we wander around art galleries & museums.
you ask great questions, open the car door for me, hold out your hand so I won't slip or fall.

we go see live music together -the symphony, that sweet jazz club, a jack johnson or ben harper concert, and you don't think it's goofy/lame that I wanna see john mayer live.
we enjoy spur of the moment adventures, photoshoots, roadtrips...camping on a beach in Hawaii is for sure in the top 10.
when we travel, it's off the beaten path, a mixture of tourist attractions, and local gems that tourists don't know about.
sweet cafes we enjoy together, chatting, or just reading the paper or a good book.
we love hanging out with our friends, over dinner, wine, a good lager.
we can watch football and hockey games together, even if I don't understand exactly what's going on.
you realize that I'm a way bigger fan of rugby.
we go on walks and hikes together, especially in the mountains, because we love being in God's creation.
we go snowboarding and skating together.
we love serving together in ministry, it gives us joy to serve together.
we understand that we're not perfect, but we love each other's quirks.

you can appreciate my special love for scrabble, volkswagens, san francisco, old black & white photographs and ferries.
you make me laugh...a lot and you're crazy about me. trust me, you're a catch and I've taken notice.
your spirit is generous, and your convictions strong. people matter to you and it is obvious.
you put up with my brand loyalties towards Apple computers and Starbucks.
you encourage me in my walk with God, pray for me and I do the same for you.
short term missions...you support that it's a matter of when, not if I go.
you pursue me.

I'm so amazed by you, and I pray for you often. I look forward to our walk in the rain, and our picnic on a mountain.
